Free (& subsidised) courses for adults


With the help of funding from Broadland District Council and the generosity of Norfolk Adult Education Service we are able to offer some free / significantly subsidised courses for adults over the coming months:

Eligibility:

These courses are available to any adult who lives / works in the Broadland High School catchment area. We would, however, particularly like to support people who are not in paid employment and wish to (re)enter the job market.

Courses

•    Aquafit – 2 X 1 hour ‘tasters’.
•    Digital Photography (ie use of a digital camera) – 2 hour ‘taster’. Saturday 25th April.
•    Genealogy / Who do you think you are? – 2 hour ‘taster’.
•    Food Hygiene – Either free or subsidised (depending on the level of training offered and costs involved) accredited course. Saturday 16th May or 4th July (to be confirmed)
•    First Aid course – Either free or subsidised (depending on the level of training offered and costs involved) accredited course.
•    Introduction to Computers – 2 hour ‘taster’ ... before moving on to a subsidised (depending on funds available) CLAIT course. Saturday 25th April.
•    Introduction to the Internet and e-mail  – 2 hour ‘taster’,before moving on to a subsidised (depending on funds available) CLAIT course. Saturday 16th May.
•    Fun with Photoshop (ie use of software to enhance photos ) – 2 hour ‘taster’. Saturday 4th July.
•    Pilates – 2 hour ‘taster’.
•    Spanish – 2 hour ‘taster’.

Venue: Broadland High School

Date(s): 1 or more of the following Saturday mornings:
•    Saturday 25th April
•    Saturday 16th May
•    Saturday 6th June
•    Saturday 4th July
