A Flower Demonstration will be presented by our well-known Mr David Wright in Spixworth Village Hall on Friday 17th June 2011.

This demonstration following on from a previous very well attended event will be entitled 'Musical Memories' and the resultant flower arrangements will be offered as part of the prizes in the raffle.

The tickets are already on sale at £6 each and this is to include light refreshments. Doors open at 7.00pm for the show to start at 7.30pm prompt.

At a meeting held on Thursday 13th January 2011, the committee agreed the following programme for the first half of this year:

The first event will be the ever popular Quiz Night to be held in Coltishall Village Hall on Saturday 19th March. Doors open at 7.00pm for a prompt start at 7.30pm. A plated buffet will be included in the ticket prize of £6 and a raffle will be held during the evening, the proceeds going to the general fund. 

Please do remember to bring your own drinks, glasses and cutlery! Enjoy a pleasant social evening and consider that the questions are all easy (everybody understands them!) but that the answers may be a little more difficult? Tickets will be available soon from:

The Annual General Meeting of the friends will take place in Coltishall Surgery on Thursday 7th April 2011 starting at 6.00pm.

The results of the events of the year 2010 / 2011 will be discussed and also the purchases made from the funds generated. This will make interesting listening and you will certainly be keen to see how we, in the Friends, are performing. Please do come along and get the information first hand!

Following the undoubted success of the Flower Demonstration last year by Mr David Wright, we are delighted to have arranged a further meeting with him for this year, again in Spixworth Village Hall, to take place on Friday 17th June 2011.

More details will be made available nearer to the time.
